OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY

TEXT:  HOLY BIBLE – New International Version

INSTRUCTORS:  A.J.Wrobel /  Rev. L. Ehlert /

I.                     INTRODUCTION

This two semester course will be a survey of most of the Old Testament books.  The Bible history will be covered chronologically (the order in which events took place).

As we study the Old Testament together, God's message to us should become more understandable and meaningful.  Attempts will be made to relate the Old Testament to modern times and to our lives so that together we can see God's will for us.  Most importantly, the message of Christ our Savior as it is revealed throughout the Old Testament will be emphasized.  Pray that this class will help you to grow in your faith and appreciation for God's Word.

Read a book for enjoyment and also extra credit!  Follow the steps below for a clear concise report.

1          Select a book that would be considered "Christian" literature from your school, home, church, or public library.

2.         Write a summary paragraph about each chapter.

3.         On a separate page, compile a list of twenty "Important Facts".  Write out at least one "fact" from each chapter.  Each "fact" must be authenticated with chapter and

page of its location in the book.

4.            Prepare a final draft of your report.  This will now include the following and in the order listed:
