High School Study Skills
Study skills are an important component of academic success on the high school level. FVL seeks to encourage students to develop effective study skills that they can take with them to the college and university level.
One excellent study resource for students looking to enhance their skills is the Make High School Count program. Click the links for the Student Guide & the Parent Guide.
Another tool that some families choose to make use of is the FVL Weekly Progress Report
The school also offers a 4-week study skills "course" to help students identify learning styles and improve their organization and study habits. Each year after Terms 1 and 3, this opportunity is publicized to students in the daily announcements. They are asked to register in the Guidance office. Mr. Guenterberg coordinates this service and can be contacted for further information by e-mail or phone 920.739.4441.
