Graduation Requirements
The following graduation requirements are established as a minimum for graduation from Fox Valley Lutheran High School. These requirements are set to insure that every student receives a sound basic education while taking into account the varied abilities which God has given to each individual. Beyond these requirements, students choose courses with their interests and career plans in mind. Many students exceed these minimum requirements.

  • English: 4 credits
  • Fine Arts: 1 credit
  • Health: 0.5 credit
  • Physical Education: 1.5 credits
  • Mathematics: 2 credits
  • Religion: 4 credits
  • Science: 2 credits (biology required)
  • Social Studies: 3 credits (U.S. history and U.S. government required)
  • Technical Education: 0.5 credit
  • Electives: 4-12 credits

    24 total credits required (exceptions for transfer students)

    NOTE: For a class to be counted for credit, a passing grade of D- or better must be achieved.
